In the future, there will be even more controls at the recycling points in the Kirchseeon market.

The council decided that.

The reason is the wild garbage deposits next to the containers.

Kirchseeon

- The use of detectives for surveillance was already decided in October last year.

They should be active with mobile photo and video surveillance for 250 hours a year.

A whole series of garbage sinners were identified.

According to the town hall, the situation has not yet improved.

Detectives catch 75 "false disposals"

These are the facts: A surveillance company had been on duty for a total of 145 hours on 19 days since the beginning of February.

Of which on six Sundays and public holidays.

75 cases of “wrong disposal” were identified during this period.

So far, the result has been complaints about administrative offences.

Warning money 55 euros.

Around 70 percent of those responsible were citizens of Kirchseeon.

According to the town hall, the remaining 30 percent of the "incorrect disposal companies" come from the surrounding communities.

At the recyclables islands in Fritz-Litzlfelder-Straße on the corner of Werkstraße, on Kirchseeoner Weg and on Ilchinger Straße, according to the town hall "neuralgic points", chaotic conditions continued to prevail, especially on weekends and public holidays.

Municipal council speaks of "pig bears"

The reactions of the market council were clear.

Christian Eringer (UWG) spoke of "piglets" and a "bulky waste paradise".

He suggested fines of 200 euros for people who were caught.

"Otherwise they won't understand.

Where it hurts people is in the wallet.” Barbara Bittner (SPD) asked what exactly the detectives had done.

"Was it just video surveillance or were people also spoken to?"

Paul Hörl (CSU) also considered the question of the quality of detective work to be important.

He also spoke out in favor of extending the control times.

“We are only successful if the frequency is high.” Even early in the day or late in the evening when the garbage sinners are out and about.

And like Ehringer (UWG), Hörl demanded: “We should raise the rates.

That should hurt.”

Greens speak out against additional surveillance

The Greens were against additional monitoring, as Natalie Katholing made clear in the committee.

At the meeting, parliamentary group member Rüdiger Za proposed offering options twice a year for citizens who could not dispose of bulky waste themselves, collection for a fee.

That has to be clarified with the district office, according to Mayor Jan Paeplow (CSU).

He also explained that the overcrowding of the recycling islands is one problem, while the illegally dumped bulky waste is another.
