This couple from Lille traveled to Yonne with their three daughters and their dog to adopt Lino, a young beagle from a European laboratory.
Virginie Mouseler, founder of the Beagles of Burgundy association, regularly travels the continent to collect dogs from animal experimentation.
Objective: to avoid euthanasia, rehabilitate them and find them a family.
In France alone, more than 4,000 dogs are used each year for animal experimentation, mostly golden retrievers and beagles, which have a certain genetic proximity to humans.
