With "Guglhupfgeschwader" the eighth Eberhofer thriller starts in the cinemas on August 4th.
Before that, the team strengthens itself with good Munich meat loaf.
Munich - "Boa, san die guad!" Sebastian Bezzel bites into the crunchy bread roll with relish, with the thick slice of meat and sweet mustard in between - you want one right away... Leberkäse rolls are Franz Eberhofer's elixir of life.
What the film character loves so hot and greasy, her actor Sebastian Bezzel must also like, right?
Munich: Eberhofer crime team tours throughout Bavaria
"At the beginning of every shoot and every cinema tour, I'm still really hot for meat loaf, but then it's enough at some point," he honestly admits when we catch him ordering for the whole crew from Elisabeth Weil at Munich's Elisabethmarkt in Schwabing .

No wonder, the smart butcher has what is said to be the best meat loaf far and wide, with chilli cheese, meat loaf made from white sausage or with pizza flavor.
They sell three to four hundred a day, says Weil.
Reason enough for the crew to make an unplanned and secret break for a snack before everyone trundles through the Free State with the latest Eberhofer thriller "Guglhupfgeschwader" on a big cinema tour - and later even to Hamburg and Berlin.
Also present, of course: Eberhofer's congenial partner Rudi Birkenberger aka Simon Schwarz, his dashing Susi (Lisa Maria Potthoff), his friend Flötzinger, played by Daniel Christensen, who sees himself as a multi-millionaire in the new film and bathes in money.
And new: Johannes Berzl, who plays the stupid Lotto-Otto.

Munich: The ninth part of the Eberhofer thrillers is already being planned
The cinema tours are fantastic for Bezzel because you celebrate the Eberhofer with the audience.
But it is also exhausting to be present in a different cinema every day.
"I was already on vacation a bit before, with my wife and children in Mallorca." And after the cinema tour, he can relax again briefly on the island - then in the fall we will continue shooting the ninth part of the popular hit, the "Rendezvous of Venison Ragout".
