The Governor of Damascus Countryside, Safwan Abu Saada, stressed the need to follow up on the distribution of fuels through the electronic card and to be precise in the fuel needs of industrial establishments, and issued a decision limiting the sale and distribution of bread to accredited people.
The governor, during his meeting with the Fuels Committee today, formed a committee to monitor the process of distributing bread through the electronic device to ensure that its sale is not tampered with, prevent the sale of bread from bakeries and limit its distribution to authorized persons.
Abu Saada also directed the formation of a committee to follow up the distribution of fuel through the electronic card to control its distribution, stressing the need for accuracy by committees to estimate the needs of industrial establishments of all kinds of fuel and to check the quantities required for projects implemented by public authorities and the implementation rates in them based on the amount of available fuels.
The Fuel Committee confirmed that the violator will be referred to the competent judiciary and the value of the material will be recovered at cost, with the detection of a supply violation, while the Governor assigned the Fuel Branch and the director of internal and legal trade in the governorate to file these lawsuits.
The committee indicated that the electronic connection process has been completed in the city of Harasta, and a station has been allocated between the governorates of Damascus and Quneitra for the distribution of subsidized diesel.
