Frankfurt – The situation at Frankfurt Airport is tense due to the holiday season, a lack of staff and staff strikes.
The police also have to deal with almost everyday things: drunk travelers who cause trouble.
On July 30, drunken women assaulted the police twice.
For both of them, the journey ended in custody, according to the federal police.
In the first case, a captain had evicted a 39-year-old woman from a plane en route from Frankfurt to Toronto, Canada, for "excessive drinking," according to the police report.
As soon as she got on board, she "slapped a security employee on the shoulder with a clenched fist," as reported by fnp.de.

Frankfurt Airport: Police take two women into custody
The woman refused to calm down.
When the officers wanted to put her in an official vehicle, the situation escalated completely: the woman hit and kicked and hit an officer in the leg.
The officers then handcuffed her.
The competent state police are now investigating resistance to law enforcement officers.
The freak also had an impact on the other travelers on their flight: the plane to Toronto was only able to take off with a delay of 72 minutes.
There was also an argument between a woman and the police at the long-distance train station at Frankfurt Airport.
There, a 30-year-old was found without a ticket on the Deutsche Bahn ICE train from Passau.
Since she refused to identify herself to a patrol officer, the officers wanted to take her to the police station to establish her identity.
However, the 30-year-old did not agree: she started screaming, hitting and kicking the officers.
One of the police officers was injured and had to be treated by a doctor.

Her identity did not remain a secret for long: after a US Army ID card was found, it was clear that the 30-year-old belonged to the American armed forces.
Whether as a soldier or in the administrative area is not known, reports a spokesman for the federal police when asked.
After a breath alcohol test (result: 1.83 per mille), the woman was handed over to the US military police.
