Presented to an investigating judge, the suspect was indicted and remanded in custody pending trial.
He is a 47-year-old man of Bulgarian nationality, without a criminal record in France, who arrived on national territory a little over three months ago, the prosecution told us.

Touching then a rape
The facts in question took place on Tuesday July 26 around 3 a.m., rue Émile Zola in Saint-Quentin (Aisne).
The victim, a 21-year-old young woman, told the police that she was returning to her vehicle alone after an outing with friends when an individual approached her and then took her by force near a garage before imposing touching.
After managing to free herself, she continues, her attacker caught up with her a few meters away and then raped her.
She specifies that she managed to flee while her attacker left the scene on foot.
