(ANSA) - ROME, 02 AUG - "The years go by but the script remains the same. In the height of summer, the problems related to the procedures for the recruitment of teachers recur even more serious. In fact, innumerable errors are encountered in the publication of the rankings provincial for the substitutes, as well as in the written tests of the competitions.

All this demonstrates that anticipating and accelerating times at all costs does not lead to punctuality in operations but only chaos.

Under these conditions, it will be impossible to have all teachers meet from September 1 ". Thus the Guild of Teachers, which strongly requests to change the recruitment systems, to postpone the dates for the submission of substitute applications and to review the timing and procedures for the processing of the rankings, especially for GPS which should have been affected by the computerization of the system.

"Since yesterday the provincial school offices have been publishing the rules and from today it is possible to submit supplementary questions, but many teachers - denounces the Guild - will not be able to participate because the computer system has unreasonably expelled them from the rankings. This will entail a surplus of work for the territorial offices that , already overburdened and with reduced personnel, will be forced to jump through hoops to restore positions and allow these teachers to submit applications by August 16. Furthermore, there is no uniformity between the various regional school offices because the ministerial indications are not clear ".

"Once again we must note a total lack of respect for the rights of teachers and transparency in the recruitment procedures. To remedy this serious situation - concludes the Guild - we consider it useful to restore the meetings in presence".
