Porn legend Mia Khalifa caused an uproar when she compared serving in the army to selling risque content online.
In an interview with the late-night program Ziwe, 29-year-old Khalifa answered questions about sharing daring photos for a fee on the Onlyfans social network and claimed that in every job "the body is sold".
She even claimed that it is worse to be soldiers in the army than to do porn on a network like her.
In a video that gained over 250,000 likes on Tiktok, host Ziva Pomodo said: "We have Onlyfans, the sex industry and there are actresses. Is there a difference between these industries or do they all sell the body in some way?".
Mia answered: "Honestly, if you look at selling the body by definition, when people serve in the army it's worse than someone who has Onlyfans. You're selling your body to the government."
The hostess was stunned and replied: "Wow."

Lebanese Mia Khalifa worked as a porn star for just three months in 2015, but it was enough to make her one of the most famous in the porn world thanks to wearing a hijab in one of her videos.
Now she works as a sports commentator and is an activist against the exploitation of women in the porn industry.
She talks freely about her time in the industry - including her unsuccessful attempts to get her 11 videos removed from porn sites.
Although her films have reportedly earned "millions of dollars" for the producers, Bang Bros, and sites like PornHub, Khalifa says she has received only $12,000 for them to date - just for her work, excluding royalties and revenue from purchases and views.
She also said that she experienced "trauma and severe emotional distress" as a result of the harsh criticism she received for wearing a hijab in one of the films and fought Bang Bros to remove the videos, claiming that they continue to use her name for profit.

In the past, she even received death threats from ISIS because she filmed a sex scene while wearing a hijab and claimed that ISIS shared photos of her with her head shaved, and that they hacked into her Instagram and published a photo of her apartment online.
Halifa wrote on Twitter at the time: "Weakness must not be shown. This is exactly what they are looking for. I try to smooth it over, but I admit that after a while it affects you."
Khalifa spoke openly about the industry that "preys on young and innocent women" and "legally binds women to draconian contracts when they are vulnerable."
She said: "Finding a regular job after leaving porn was scary. People think I made millions from porn. I made a total of about $12,000 in the industry and haven't made any money since then." A third said that: "At least in the army you do something good for society."
A soldier responded to her and wrote: "Our career is honorable and full of satisfaction. Her career is to receive five men at once and undergo humiliation. It is not the same."
On the other hand, some soldiers who responded to her wrote that she was not far from the truth: "The government screwed me in a million different ways", one wrote and another responded to him: "There is a lot of truth in her words".

Adds fuel to the fire
Last Friday, the Lebanese-American star turned to Twitter to respond to some of the allegations against her.
She wrote: "To anyone shouting at my saying that being in the military is worse than being in the Unipans because you're selling your body to the government - we both serve this nation! What do you think they sent for morale at the time? More soldiers? Or Marilyn Monroe in a skirt?"
In another tweet, she wrote: "The beautiful part of Unipans is that you don't have to take your clothes off. In the military. However, you have to go destabilize the country and even die in the name of crude oil if the president is in the mood that week."

Of course, these statements of hers shaped the surfers even more.
One wrote: "The statement is stupid. If you've never been in the army, there's no way you can honestly say that being in the army is worse. If you feel that what you're doing is a service to the nation, go with it. But don't make comparisons to the army."
