Six people, including officers, were killed in a military helicopter crash in Balochistan, southern Pakistan.
Pakistani media reported that a military helicopter of the type (Eurocopter AS350 Ecore) crashed yesterday while it was on a flight from Quetta to Karachi as part of special operations to remove the consequences of floods in Balochistan, killing six people, including officers, "indicating that wreckage has been found." The helicopter hours after losing contact with it.
According to the media, on board the helicopter was the commander of the 12th Corps, Lieutenant-General Sarfaraz Ali, who was supervising relief operations in the area, in addition to another officer.
