The new theme area "Croatia" will be created in Europa-Park Rust by 2023.
Now a sketch of the new Tesla roller coaster that is being built there has appeared for the first time.
Rust – Fans have been certain for some time: Europa-Park is building a Tesla roller coaster.
After the Rust municipal council approved the corresponding building application last Monday, it is finally certain: The new roller coaster will come.
A sketch of Europa-Park, now
made public, according to
BW24 , shows what the attraction will look like.
As park insiders have already guessed, the center of the roller coaster is a replica of the "Wardenclyffe Tower" that Nikola Tesla had built on Long Island (USA) in 1901.
According to information from the
Lahrer Zeitung
, the Tesla roller coaster should not exceed a height of 28 meters.
Europa-Park is also well equipped when it comes to noise protection - which should make the residents of the neighborhood particularly happy.
The operators emphasize that they rely heavily on noise protection elements during construction.
With a length of 1,600 meters, the new runway will be almost as long as the "Silver Star" - but not as fast at 80 kilometers per hour.

The name of the Tesla roller coaster has also been known for some time.
A few months ago, Europa-Park reported a trademark registration for the name "Voltron Coaster", which is strongly reminiscent of the "volt" unit from electrical engineering.
The Serbian, Croatian-born inventor Tesla made significant discoveries in this area.
Europa-Park: Tesla roller coaster will have its place in the new "Croatia" theme area
In the future, the Tesla roller coaster will have its place in the new "Croatia" themed area, which will be built in Europa-Park by 2023.
The new themed area is located in a part not previously used by visitors on the edge of the park, right next to Greece.
In order to create additional space, Europapark removed the huge "satellite dish" on the festival grounds of the park, the hot-air balloon carousel "Flight of Icarus" and the 360-degree cinema "Traumzeit Dome".
According to the blueprints available to the Rust municipal council, the Tesla roller coaster is said to be an advanced version of the "Big Dipper" type.
Since May 2022, fans have been able to follow the construction progress of the attraction on the
"VEEJOY
" streaming platform.
