Tuesday, August 2nd:
4.20 p.m .:
The Weilheim State Building Authority is currently creating the new threading lane onto the B472 at the level of the former greenhouse.
From August 5th to 8th (four days) and from August 17th to 18th (two days) there will be asphalt work on a section of Quellenstraße near the former greenhouse in the municipality of Wackersberg.
Quellenstraße will be completely closed from state road 2064 (Benediktbeurer Straße) up to and including the “Steinsäge” access road for the two specified periods.
The diversion takes place via the B 472 in the direction of Bad Tölz and Wackersberg and in the opposite direction from "Steinsäge" via Wackersberg and Bad Tölz.
3:18 p.m .:
The Tölz reading room and the spa library are open regularly in August.
However, the citizens' consultation hour is canceled from August 4th to 17th.
During this time, the library is open from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
On the holiday of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, August 15, the spa library will be closed.
The reading room can be used daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

According to the police, a 30-year-old from Miesbach drove his BMW along state road 2072 from Geretsried in the direction of Bad Tölz.
In a right-hand bend, the man's eyes closed briefly.
The car came to the left side of the road, then spun against two traffic signs and finally came to a standstill on the right side in a meadow.
Fortunately, the man from Miesbach was uninjured, but the car had to be towed away due to a total loss.
According to the police, the property damage amounts to around 6500 euros.
12:31 p.m.:
Normally, the mayor's bike tour marks the start of the city bike campaign.
But this year the rainy weather threw a spanner in the works.
What was actually supposed to take place at the end of June will now be made up for on Tuesday, August 2nd: For the third time, Ingo Mehner is inviting everyone who is interested to his mayoral bike tour.
This year's theme is "Energy and Sustainability".
At a leisurely pace, we walk together from the meeting point in the Bürgergarten to the Farchet and to the end of the tour at the Isar power plant.
At numerous stops along the way, you can learn a lot of interesting facts about the local heating supply in Bad Tölz, electromobility, the photovoltaic system in Farchet, sewage sludge drying at the sewage treatment plant and energy generation on the Isar.
In addition to Mayor Mehner and employees of the city administration, Walter Huber, Managing Director of Stadtwerke Bad Tölz, also answered the questions of fellow cyclists.
Meeting point is at 6 p.m. at the viewing platform at the Bürgergarten.
All interested parties are invited, registration is not required.
The participants of the bike tour are responsible for their own safety.
The event will be canceled if it rains continuously.
11.13 a.m .:
According to the police, World War II ammunition was found on a construction site in Rotkehlchenweg in the Gartenberg district of Geretsried.
According to the first assessment, it is a 75-kilo aircraft bomb.
A security area with a radius of 300 meters was defined around the site.
The explosive ordnance clearance service has already been notified and is expected to be at the scene between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Traffic blocks are set up around the discovery site in Rotkehlchenstraße.

The mountain rescue service and the BRK water rescue service in Kochel am See and the community are planning to build a combined mountain and water rescue station.
A corresponding application for a subsidy was submitted to the Leader funding program for this project.
The funding notice was handed over on Tuesday morning at the future location of the rescue station.

Work on the first house has begun in the new development area on Tölzer Hintersberg.
The construction area comprises a total of 38 parcels.
14 of these are urban parcels (five semi-detached houses and one four-in-hand), for which there was an extensive tendering process.
