Today is the day of rejoicing of the Holy Ari, who is buried in the cemetery in Safed.
Many thousands visit his Zion at this time and petition.
The Rebbe Rabbi Yosiah Pinto, head of the "Shuba Yisrael" institutions, sent a letter this morning to his students, in which he calls for a lot of free love and the study of the holy Zohar, in preparation for the historic event of the closing of the thousands of Zohar books that will take place on the night of God's day in Elul at the Menorah temple stadium in Tel Aviv.
"To the beloved and lovable members of the community," wrote the Rebbe Rabbi Pinto, "these days are days when the measure of judgment is strained and the people of Israel need the mercy of heaven and the sweetening of the judgments."
And therefore we must increase in free love and in the study of the holy Zohar, surely with the power of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai we will gain multiple influences and the sweetening of the laws.
"
And with God's help we will get through the coming period with miracles above nature.
Likewise, the Rebbe Rabbi Pinto called to strengthen the study of Sefer Devarim on Shabbat, in particular in preparation for "Shabbat Devarim" where we will begin the Five Devarims.
