The consequences of this incident could have been dramatic.
Sunday evening, a 27-year-old man knocked down a pedestrian and hit six parked vehicles in Villiers-le-Bel.
The facts took place around 9 p.m., impasse du Pré des Trous.
Known for a psychiatric history, the assailant would have acted following a neighborhood dispute, which would have put him in great anger.
The context being unfavorable for the responders on site, the men of the Val-d'Oise departmental fire and rescue service (Sdis 95) had to act from a secure area.
The police also arrived at the scene.
A 4-year-old child out of danger
A 33-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man were injured in the accident caused by the imbalance.
The latter as well as two of his victims were transported in relative emergency to the hospital center of Gonesse.
A 4-year-old child, also present at the scene, was fortunately not injured and was able to return to his home.
Last year, at the same time, in early August, a 26-year-old driver, known to the police for traffic offences, mowed down a mother and her daughter at a bus stop in Argenteuil.
Witnesses had seen him accelerate suddenly before climbing onto the sidewalk and hitting them violently.
While in police custody, he denied having deliberately hit the two victims and had indicated that he had fallen asleep at the wheel of his vehicle.
He was eventually charged and imprisoned.
