The meeting of the General Assembly of the Syrian-Algerian Business Council began this evening to complete the formation of its board of directors and its committees and launch its work, with the participation of about 80 businessmen and women, at the Ebla Hotel in Damascus countryside.

Council Chairman Khaled Zubaidi, in a speech at the start of the meeting, confirmed that the Council will work during the coming period to develop economic relations between Syria and Algeria in various trade and investment fields, activate the role of Syrian businessmen to establish partnerships with their Algerian counterparts, form specialized committees in all areas of cooperation and establish a joint-stock company to pay The wheel of cooperation is faster.

On the 17th of last month, the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade issued a decision to form the Syrian-Algerian Business Council, naming Khaled Al-Zobeidi as the head of the council and Mustafa Kawaih as his deputy.
