Various sculptural formations presented by the young artist, Mirna Al-Mahtawi, as part of her artistic experience, in which she relied on her talent and was able to formulate an artistic state driven by a stream of feelings, which she describes as the main driving force in the implementation of any artwork to express the reflections within her of the lived reality.
In an interview with SANA Youth Bulletin, Al-Mahithawi pointed out that art is a talent that is born with a person and is not acquired at all, but a person can enrich it with perseverance, knowledge and study that makes the artist able to monitor what others like and interest them.
Wood, according to Mirna, helps to translate the artist's feelings and emotional interiors into a sculptural formation, adding to it the aesthetic visions and creative techniques in his imagination that are ultimately reflected in the work.
Speaking about the paint with which the art form is painted, Mirna explained that the function of this material is to protect the work from natural factors, but the selection is supposed to be correct so that the paint contributes to improving the aesthetic form of the sculpture, stressing that what she received from her teacher Hadi Obeid helped her refine her talent and provide her with education. necessary.
For his part, the artist Obeid said that Al-Mahithawi possesses a talent capable of forming her own identity in the artistic community, through which she proves her worth and artistic self, as she expresses the artistic culture spread among the youth.
