The city of Seine-Saint-Denis experienced an episode of urban violence targeting firefighters and police during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, Le Figaro
learned
on Tuesday August 3 from police sources, some referring to an "
ambush
".
The facts occurred on the outskirts of the sensitive city of Beaudottes.
Around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, a crew of firefighters is deployed to extinguish garbage containers, formed into a barricade and set on fire.
On the spot, they suffered several jets of projectiles from many individuals, requiring the intervention of police brigades.

The mobilized security forces are then targeted by cobblestones and mortar fire.
Taken to task, the police responded with around forty de-encirclement and tear gas grenades, as well as several dozen shots from defense bullet launchers (LBD).
Two police officers were slightly injured during the attack, one burned by the explosion of a firework mortar, the other by a stone throw.
An administrative vehicle was also damaged.
Calm returned two hours later, around midnight.
So far, no arrests have been reported.
