A 51-year-old Tira resident was caught driving a car while carrying a driver's license that expired 21 years ago - the police announced today (Wednesday).

During a routine activity of traffic detectives in the Sharon area, they stopped for examination a driver who was using his mobile phone while driving.

An examination of the vehicle driver's details revealed that his driver's license expired in 2001.

At the end of the examination, the detectives issued a report for a total of one thousand shekels to the driver of the vehicle and assigned him 8 points.

In addition, he received an invitation to court due to the fact that he drove a vehicle without a valid driver's license.

Last week, Anat Tal-Katelev and Nitzan Moshe, senior management members of the ICL company (formerly Israel Chemicals), were killed in a car accident on Route 6. The investigation of the accident reveals that the driver of the vehicle that collided with their vehicle, Ali Alatrash, a 24-year-old from the Bedouin diaspora in the Negev who was also killed, did not have a license driving.

Tal-Katelev, a resident of Kibbutz Beit Kama, left behind her husband, four children and her parents and sisters.

Nitzan, a resident of Lehavim, left behind a wife, four children and a pair of parents.
