The Centre for Health Protection said that there are five more schools that have individual classes to be closed, including Kwun Tong Hokkien Middle School, Maryknoll Fathers Mission School Primary School, Kowloon Tong Christian and Missionary Association Taishan Chen Yuanxi Primary School, etc.


In addition, St. Anthony's Primary School and Sai Wan Ho Ming Wo Kindergarten, which had classes suspended earlier, have been suspended due to the infection of other students in other classes. The authorities have not found any connection between the cases in the classes involved.

In addition to the above five schools, two schools were advised to suspend classes due to the outbreak of the epidemic in individual classes on August 1, namely Class 2C of St. Anton Primary School in Kwun Tong and Kindergarten Class D of Ming Wo Kindergarten in Sai Wan Ho.

Among the 30 students in the 2E class of St. Andrews Primary School, three of them contracted the epidemic and had to suspend classes.
