An El Al flight to Milan made an emergency landing today (Wednesday) in Israel due to a bird hitting the engine. The plane, which took off from Israel, returned to its tracks when it was already south of Cyprus, at a distance of about 350 kilometers from the country.

In the meantime, another El Al flight to Rome had to change its route and landed in Athens due to a medical condition of one of the passengers that required treatment.
