B318: Motorcyclist injured in accident

A motorcyclist was injured in an accident on the B318 near Reitham on Tuesday evening.
A driver had overlooked him when turning.

– As reported by the police, there was a traffic accident with a motorcyclist on Tuesday at around 8.35 p.m. on the B318 in the direction of Gmund shortly after the Reitham curve.
According to the police report, a 25-year-old woman from Starnberg wanted to turn left in her Opel onto the B318 in the direction of Holzkirchen, coming from the direction of Schaftlach.
However, she overlooked a 32-year-old motorcyclist from Munich coming from the right, who was traveling with his Yamaha on the federal highway in the direction of Holzkirchen.
The 32-year-old motorcyclist was able to avoid a collision by braking and evasive maneuvers sharply, but fell into the shoulder next to the road and fell as a result.
He was slightly injured.
Paramedics took the 32-year-old to a nearby hospital.
The 25-year-old car driver was not injured, and her Opel was also undamaged.
The police put the damage to the motorcycle at around 500 euros.
The motorcycle was recovered and taken away by a towing service.
