As is well known, the German television prize is moderated by Barbara Schöneberger.

This year, due to a change, she will be supported by Jana Pareigis.

The German Television Award is divided into two different categories.

Mainz - Since 1999, the achievements of creative people on TV have been honored with the television prize.

This year, however, there is a big change.

In order to honor everyone, the gala takes place on two evenings, which is why moderator Barbara Schöneberger should now receive support from Jana Pareigis.

ZDF broadcasts the television award with a new presenter

On Tuesday, September 13, 2022, Jana Pareigis (41) will present "The Night of the Creative - The German Television Award 2022".

The 41-year-old journalist, together with celebrities and well-known television professionals, honors the work of the creative professionals.

These are awarded in eleven categories.

"The Night of Creatives" can be accessed in the ZDF media library and from 12.45 a.m. also in the ZDF main program.

In 2021, Andrea Kiewel was awarded the television prize for the best moderation.

For the main program on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 8:15 p.m., Barbara Schöneberger will return to the screen and guide the viewer through "The TV Highlights of the Year - The German Television Award 2022".

Spectators can look forward to an exciting and entertaining evening.

Last year, Andrea Kiewel was delighted to receive the television award.

This year, however, she caused a big discussion with her moderation when she quoted the title of the book on the ZDF television garden: "Derweiße Neger Wumbaba".

On Twitter, some users were shocked by the choice of words by the native Berliner.
