Court: Protest camp can take place at the Volkspark

A multi-day protest camp organized by left-wing and climate-political groups can take place next week at the Altonaer Volkspark.
The Hamburg Administrative Court decided on Wednesday.
As a spokesman announced, the relocation of the camp to the Volkspark ordered by the assembly authority was confirmed.
On the other hand, a ban on the erection of overnight and supply tents issued by the authorities has been overturned.
Hamburg - The "System Change Camp" was originally supposed to take place from August 9th to 15th in the city park.
The organizers, an alliance of more than 30 groups - including Extinction Rebellion and Ende Gelände - had submitted an urgent application to the administrative court against the conditions imposed by the authority.
An appeal against the decision can be lodged with the Higher Administrative Court.
