A malfunction in the reservation system of the "Ibis" hotels in Jerusalem that occurred yesterday (Tuesday) caused dozens of new rooms in the chain's hotels in the city to be sold at a price of NIS 59.90 instead of NIS 599.
Dozens of people managed to order a package that includes a room and breakfast at a cost of NIS 59.90 per night, until the chain's management discovered the mistake - and corrected it.
However, the management announced that it will honor the price shown in the order.
They will respect the price caused by the malfunction.

Orfaz Elmaleh Ben Nun, 33 years old from Modi'in, who managed to purchase the discounted package, told "Israel Hayom": "A family friend sent me the 'offer.' It makes sense. We booked a room and said it was worth the effort, at most we would lose NIS 59. Luckily, we realized there was a glitch with the company and we were happy to hear that they stand behind the price, I really feel like I won."
Avia Cohen, 33 years old from Kiryat Gat, also managed to buy a night at the Jerusalem hotel following the mistake.
She told "Israel Today": "We were looking for a hotel in Jerusalem to spend a day or two. My partner and I are self-employed, so we are quite flexible with the dates. When we saw the price, we immediately booked two nights for NIS 190, a really amazing price, and we booked. Today We understood that it was a glitch, and we are happy that they announced that they would honor our order."
Aharon Bernstein, CEO of "Ibis" Israel Hotels, said: "As an international chain, we are committed to international standards in all its implications, so we decided to honor everyone who won and purchased rooms for NIS 59.9 per night with breakfast.
