In the attic of the Wartenberg town hall, four new jobs for employees are being created in a previously rented apartment.
Wartenberg – Time is obviously running out for the renovation of the town hall in Wartenberg, where more space for employees urgently needs to be created.
At the meeting of the community assembly of the administrative community (VG), the mayor of Wartenberg, Christian Pröbst, gave a brief report at the request of the community chairman, Mayor Josef Straßer from Langenpreising.
Accordingly, it was possible to end the existing tenancies in the attic without conflict.
Pröbst indicated that in view of the current housing market situation, very long notice periods had been used.
The last tenant is moving out these days.
Conversion: attic for administrative purposes
The planning services for the conversion had been put out to tender.
The architect who did the preliminary planning stressed that he currently had no capacity for the final planning.
As reported, this preliminary planning not only included a conversion of the top floor, but also an extension to the existing town hall.
In a first phase, according to the decision at the time, the top floor should now be used entirely for administrative purposes.
Now that the new planner has been determined, a building permit must be obtained.
Then you have to agree on the financing in the administrative community before you can build afterwards.
Remodeling: Initially, many provisional measures
First you have to work with provisional solutions.
With simple means, there will be a small conversion in one of the remaining apartments, so that four jobs can be accommodated there.
Of course, this applies above all to the laying of data lines and other infrastructure, Pröbst explained.
It's something that can be done in a week.
Another meeting room is to be set up temporarily in another apartment.
