Honoring the winning children in the Casablanca Festival of Arab Child Arts competitions

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Muhammad Seif El-Din today honored the winners of the festival’s competitions

The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mohamed Seif El-Din, honored today the winners of the competitions of the “Casablanca Festival for the Arts of the Arab Child” in its second session, which was held last May in Morocco.

And participated in the festival, which lasted for five days, by default, 25 children from Syria, where eight of them won various prizes, including the Golden Excellence Award in each of the fields of plastic art and poetry, and the Special Committee and Creativity Awards in the field of music and singing.

The honor included the distribution of a number of certificates and gifts for children, in addition to honoring the members of the jury who represented Syria in the festival's competitions, which included a number of fields, including educational theater, drawing, music, singing, technology and invention.

Minister Seif El-Din stressed the importance of supporting children's talents, developing them and taking care of them, and supporting their participation in Arab and international festivals and events, noting that the participation of children with disabilities in this festival is important to reintegrate them into society and empower them.

In turn, the head of the office of the General Union of Arab Producers in Syria, Ziyad Al-Mouh, praised the honor for encouraging these talents to give more and excellence, pointing to the support provided by the Shams Virtual School, which provided the requirements for Syrian participation through its electronic platforms.

It is noteworthy that 743 boys and girls from 18 Arab countries participated in the festival.
