How do you know if an egg has been hard-boiled?
To tell if an egg has been hard-boiled or still raw, just spin it around.
If it spins, it's hard, if it wobbles, it's raw.
And to find out if a raw egg is still edible, you can use Grandma's trick of immersing it in a bowl of water.
If it sinks to the bottom, it's fresh.
If it is placed vertically or remains in the middle of the bowl, it is no longer fresh, but remains edible.
It's the perfect candidate for baking a cake or being baked hard.
If, on the other hand, it rises to the surface, the egg is no longer edible and must be discarded.
