The head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, confirmed that the pumping of gas into hundreds of advanced centrifuges by Iranian experts came in response to the new sanctions imposed by Washington on Tehran.
The Iranian Mehr news agency quoted Eslami as saying on the sidelines of a government delegation meeting with a group of journalists today that "the Americans have not fulfilled their obligations... and they are also committing new actions and repeating accusations," explaining that Iran has always reiterated that all its nuclear activities are carried out in accordance with safeguards and the Non-Proliferation Treaty. nuclear weapons.
The head of the Atomic Energy Organization added, “Therefore, and in the context of implementing the law to abolish sanctions, and in response to these sanctions, we started pumping laurel into advanced centrifuges,” noting, “With this work, we show them that our will is strong and we will not hesitate to take any action that is in line with the interests of the Iranian people.”
Eslami pointed out that Iran is ready to return to what was agreed upon regarding its peaceful nuclear program if all parties return to the nuclear agreement and abide by their commitments, calling on the Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency to avoid political statements influenced by the allegations of the Israeli entity.
The spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Behrouz Kamalvandi, announced the day before yesterday the operation and injection of gas into hundreds of centrifuges, in the context of implementing the Strategic Initiative Law to abolish the embargo and protect the interests of the Iranian people.
