Prime Minister Lapid is working to bring together the heads of states that have signed normalization agreements with Israel on its territory • In addition, it was learned that Lapid is planning to visit Morocco

These days, Israel and the United Arab Emirates are marking two years since the signing of the normalization agreement between the countries that was signed on August 13, 2020, at the height of the global corona epidemic.

According to the planning that is taking shape these days, the conference will be held in one of the countries that signed the agreements and at the level of the heads of state.

This is a conference in which the heads of state, i.e. the highest level, will take part, unlike the Negev conference that Israel hosted about six months ago, which was held at the level of foreign ministers only.

Although there is still no "green light" from all the countries that signed the Abraham Accords with the State of Israel, in Israel they are pressing for its existence even before the elections on November 1.

Prime Minister Yair Lapid visited the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Morocco but did so for the purpose of inaugurating the Israeli missions when he served as Foreign Minister.

It was also learned that before the elections, Prime Minister Yair Lapid plans to make an official visit to Morocco, for the first time as Prime Minister of Israel.

About two weeks ago Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi visited and this week Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai also finished his visit.

As you may recall, the state and official ceremony of signing the Abraham Accords took place on September 15 on the White House lawn in the presence of former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Emirati Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed and the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Abd al-Latif al-Ziani and, of course, American President Donald Trump.
