The construction progress in municipal housing, the current status of the fire station and the building areas: these were topics that were discussed at the Buch citizens' assembly.

The construction progress in municipal housing, the current status of the fire station and the building areas: these were topics that were discussed at the Buch citizens' meeting.

Buch am Buchrain

- "Most things are going very smoothly, the companies are doing a good job," said Buch's second mayor, Josef Auer, summing up the construction progress in housing construction.

The screed work was delayed because the company was unable to do anything for days due to the corona and holidays.

The assignment of the metal work on the facade is also not yet done - primarily emergency stairs and protective grilles.

There were two offers in the tender, which would, however, completely exceed the budget.

Together with the planner and the senior construction manager, offers are to be obtained again.

"There have already been talks with companies," says Auer.

By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Erding newsletter.

Auer also addressed the fire station that will be built next to the residential building.

The orders for earthworks, shell construction and carpentry work have been awarded (we reported), the roofing services are to be put out to tender soon.

"Unfortunately, due to legal requirements, it is not possible to combine them with the carpenter," says Auer.

He also explained that 363,000 euros would come from funding from the government of Upper Bavaria and KfW.

Here he especially praised VG manager Gottfried Prostmeier.

After the funding applications could be submitted again after a short break in January, he sent the application on April 1 at 12:01 a.m.

"The program was then closed again between 7 and 8 a.m.," said Auer, "but we were there."

The earthworks are scheduled to begin in September.

The big goal is to have the roof on in winter.

Mayor Ferdinand Geisberger informed about the budget figures.

In 2022, the local treasury will be charged three million euros for housing construction, 800,000 euros for the fire station, 585,000 euros for the water supply and 300,000 euros for development costs.

This is offset by income of EUR 2.14 million in subsidies for housing construction, EUR 1.88 million from loans, EUR 500,000 from property sales and EUR 155,600 from funding pots for broadband expansion.

The bottom line is that the community had debts of 2.36 million euros at the end of last year – 1,522 euros for each of the 1,714 residents.

The population is growing slightly, in 2021 there were eleven births and eleven deaths.

77 citizens moved away, but 126 new ones came to the place.

There was response from the citizens in the report on the status of the building areas.

Geisberger explained that the first interpretation of the plan for Oberndorf was now over, the objections would be dealt with and then the second interpretation would take place.

"Why is it taking so long?" one listener wanted to know.

His son wants to build and is "really mad" at the community.

The mayor showed understanding, but pointed out that this first had to be processed factually and technically so that building rights could be granted.

"We cannot avoid the second interpretation." If this takes place in mid-October, a decision can be expected by the end of the year.

There were requests to speak about the change in the Am Schmiedberg development plan (we reported), there the citizens discussed the method of traffic calming.

It was suggested that planters be placed on both sides of the road to encourage traffic to zigzag, otherwise you could still rush through the middle.

One report referred to a letter from an architect's office in Münster that a booker received.

"A 46 meter high radio mast is to be built in Oberbuch," he said and wanted to know if the community knew.

Geisberger was surprised and had to admit: "We haven't heard anything about it yet, we haven't spoken to anyone about it." He wanted to inquire.
