This is according to a survey conducted by the Geocartography Institute in collaboration with the Rav Barih Group. • The survey also shows that 71% of parents report that they had to leave work or call a family member to open the door for their child. • Rav Barih offers a patent for automatic opening: from a light click on an application, fingerprint and facial recognition

The summer season is characterized by trips to vacations, trips, the sea, moving houses and of course children without organized frameworks who spend most of the day outside the home.

However, the summer season is also the season when children lose the keys to the house the most and get locked out - according to a survey conducted by the "Rav-Barih" group in collaboration with the Geocartography Institute on the topic of losing keys among children.

The survey also shows that 50% of the parents of school-age children stated that one or more of their children lost the keys to the house door and the rate of losing keys in the last two years is higher than 10% among children aged 12 and over.

Also, 73% of the parents reported that their children were locked out of the house as a result of losing or forgetting the keys and 71% of the parents had to leave work, or call a family member, to open the house door for the child.

How, then, can the children's independence be increased on the one hand, and on the other hand ensure that the key always remains in their possession?

Most parents usually talk to their children about a "backup plan" that allows them to know where to go if they lose a key.

Alternatively, some offer tricks and tips that will help their children keep the house keys - from purchasing a key chain according to the child's taste that will be a positive reminder, to relatively light key chains that will serve as a gentle reminder that something may be missing from the school bag, installing an internal hook in the school bag, a lanyard key that adorns the child's neck or a spare key hidden in a hiding place - one that the child knew where to look, of course.

"Key children" - the next generation

These solutions, which were more popular in previous generations, are no longer effective and do not help in keeping the key and are certainly not suitable for Generation Z, which is characterized as global, visual and technological.

For such a generation, which sees reality through a screen and is connected to the Internet as a way of life, a different solution is needed.

"Forgetting keys among children is a well-known problem that has existed for years," explains Omer Yatir, CEO of the locking company of the "Rav-Barih" group. Today's technology has advanced solutions for the 'key children'."

About two years ago, Rav Barih, one of the world's leading security door manufacturers that was recently ranked first in the "Globes" brand index in the home design category, launched the LOCKAPP technology that led a revolution in the world of locking.

Now the company is launching the new generation of the smart lock - SMART technology, which allows control of the entrance to the house and connects to the Loxys High Security cylinder, made with a multi-bolt, which guarantees a higher level of protection.

Another option offered by Rab Barih is switching to a SMART smart door.

As part of the digital home vision that Rav-Barih has been promoting in the construction market for the past year, they launched the SMART door collection, a smart, high-quality entrance door with advanced technology that enables smart opening and locking in a variety of options - app, facial recognition (2nd generation), fingerprint or code for quality of life most advanced

The SMART door is the only one in Israel and the first in the world to offer a smart entrance to the home using advanced technology developed, tested and manufactured in Israel, in a multi-bolt factory in Ashkelon.

The SMART series allows the customer to make any door from the brand's door collection SMART already at the production stage.

Each of the brand's doors includes a lock with the highest level of security and incorporates an integral smart lock hidden in the body of the door.

The door can be opened and locked intelligently using a dedicated application that includes a virtual key or using facial recognition, a fingerprint reader, a coder or a remote control.

The smart door includes rechargeable batteries for use of over 1,250 operating cycles, so the batteries must be recharged very infrequently

"Rav Barih locking products emphasizes technological innovation and works to be a leading player in electro-mechanical locking products," says Yatir.

"The smart home security product line places emphasis on user comfort, security and technology. The smart cylinder (lockup) allows turning any existing door into a smart door, and is managed by a new application with management and control options, such as sending a one-time virtual key for casual entry into the home and management The users and permissions are scheduled in the system.

The smart solutions that Rav Barih offers are suitable for use by children. The systems are protected by encryption that guarantees protection against digital hacking attempts.

The smart doors have safe and reliable mechanisms that have been tested over time by the company's engineering and development department. The doors have a patented cylinder with key duplication control, and the mechanical key can always be used if necessary.

The smart, safe and well-designed solutions offered by Rav Barih allow children a great deal of independence and enormous peace of mind for parents.

It seems that the day is not far when we will all stop walking around with keys - or at least we won't be afraid of losing them.
