Her passion and love for the Arabic language and her follow-up to seminars and cultural events within the Arab Cultural Center in the city of Izraa in the Daraa countryside was the first step to embarking on the world of writing in the field of novels, stories and theater.
And thanks to the talent that she enjoyed since childhood, with the guidance of the poet Riad Tabra, who shared her writing in the field of theater, she was able to enter the literary world and write several collections of stories and novels.
In a statement to SANA, Al-Azar said: “She has been writing since she was young, and she was in the elementary school, as she developed over the years,” explaining that her ability to speak the Arabic language, reading that she loves, attending cultural libraries, and attending seminars at the Cultural Center in Izraa contributed to her entry into the literary field through its wide door. .
She added: "The beginnings were in writing thoughts and prose texts, which she still collects and preserves until she met the poet Riad Tabra, who was credited with taking her first step on the way to writing. A beautiful novelist.”
Referring to the first collection of stories published under her name, entitled (Life is a Sequel), she said: “In it, it dealt with social issues related to society, youth, marriage, study and others through 15 stories, each with a special topic.
She indicated that the second collection of stories was entitled When Nostalgia Wakes, embodying the state of nostalgia for the homeland, school days, the words of family and friends, childhood, youth and youth.
Al-Azar indicated that she has two plays in print, entitled The Humpback, in partnership with the poet Riad Tabra, where the events take place within an ancient pagan temple and deal with the conflict between parents and two lovers and obstacles to marriage until the girl’s father agrees.
He joins the ranks of the army in defense of the country's wealth, even though he is alone with his family. He gets married and leaves his wife after a short period to return to her as a martyr in order to defend the country.
It is noteworthy that Randa El-Azar has another strange soul novel that talks about young people traveling abroad and the difficulties they encounter in learning the language and following up on educational attainment with homesickness and efforts to prove themselves.
