Several people were injured in an explosion at the site of the Urenco company for the production of military explosives in Bergerac, southwest France.
Reuters quoted a company official as saying that "several people were injured in the explosion," without specifying their exact number.
The emergency services established a security cordon, while the office of the Mayor of Bergerac demanded to stay away from the area.
It was not immediately clear what caused the explosion in the company that produces military explosives and fuel, in addition to explosives for civilian use.
