A girl, aged one year and two months, died of drowning in a pond prepared for watering sheep in the village of “Talada” in the countryside of Salamiyah district in Hama.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of today that the outer Salamiyah police station informed that a girl had drowned in a pond prepared for watering sheep in the village of “Talada” in the countryside of Salamiyah area, and transferred her to one of the area’s hospitals, noting that a patrol from the aforementioned center immediately went to the hospital.
According to the ministry's statement, it turned out that the girl, Narges Al-Aloush, was one year and two months old, and she was admitted to the hospital, as a result of drowning.
The ministry added: By heading to the home of the girl's family and by interrogating her mother, she stated that she was with her daughter in the house and had left her in one of the rooms to spend some household chores. to their neighbor and asked him to help her.
The ministry indicated that by conducting a medical examination on the girl's body, it was found that the cause of death was respiratory failure resulting from drowning, and that investigations are still ongoing.
