The number of victims of the recent torrential rains that swept through several Iranian cities has risen to 90, according to the latest statistics.
The head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, Pir Hossein Kolivand, said in an interview with the Iranian news agency IRNA today that the number of missing citizens as a result of these floods has also reached 8.
Kolliond added that relief operations are still continuing in 661 districts in the country, pointing to the association's readiness to provide food and other aid needed by those affected by the floods.
Heavy rains fell in various Iranian cities a few days ago, and led to torrential rains and floods that killed dozens of people.
