Tragedy in the south:
a man in his 20s from the Bedouin diaspora, drowned today (Wednesday) at Dalila beach in Ashkelon.
First he was pulled from the water when he was unconscious, and medics and paramedics of Magen David Adom who were called to the scene performed CPR on him and evacuated him to Barzilai Hospital in the city, where he was pronounced dead.
The paramedics of Ronan Shunam Halevi and Israel Logsi who arrived at the scene said: "We saw on the beach, at the water's edge, a man about 30 years old unconscious, without breathing and without a pulse after being pulled from the sea. Bathers who were on the beach began basic CPR. We gave him medical treatment and performed advanced CPR and prolonged while being evacuated to the hospital when his condition is critical."
