Sleeping well on the plane: for many a contradiction in terms.

A TikTok user found out what simple trick makes traveling much more comfortable.

Do you know the hack?

Do you usually fly first class or business class?

As a rule, one lies so comfortably in these classes that the best conditions for a good night's sleep are given.

The situation is different in the "wood class".

Here the passengers sit tightly packed and the legroom usually leaves a lot to be desired.

An airline passenger with the TikTok username strollinginthesuburbs wants to remedy the situation by publishing an airplane seat hack.

Under his instructional video, the young man writes: "It took me 32 years to learn this but most people don't realize their headrest on a plane does it!

#flyinghacks #airplanetiktok #traveltips #familytravel @delta @United Airlines @Qatar Airways @American Airlines".

Travel hack on the plane: The headrest can be easily folded down

See the video: The TikTok user strollinginthesuburbs reaches behind him on the plane and pulls the two ends of the headrest attachment forward.

The two wings remain in this position and thus form a neck support and protection against bending the head to the left or right.

In the video, strollinginthesuburbs raises the question of who knew airplane seats could do this.

The answers were not long in coming.

For example, user OmikronTheta writes in the comments: "Literally everyone who flies more than once every two years knows this. Wait until you find out that the handle on the gear can be lifted".

And many other users are not surprised either and respond with words like "Everyone knows that. Everyone".

Other users disagree and respond to the post with thanks: "I didn't know!

Thank you for sharing!".

"Amazing, my neck says 'thank you,'" wrote another appreciative TikTok user.
