A few days old baby was found today (Thursday) inside a cardboard box on a street in Acre.

The local resident called the police, and an MDA ambulance evacuated him to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya, accompanied by welfare officials of the Municipality of Acre. The police opened an investigation. The baby was found in the Old City with the umbilical cord still attached to him.
