Five facts you didn't know about weddings ("must not miss" system)
There is no person who does not know that you should not wear white to a wedding that is not yours.
Not only should you not wear white - it is also better to avoid shades close to white that in the wrong lighting may look white, such as pale yellow and light neutral colors.
Now a wedding guest who innocently shared photos of herself from her friend's wedding day is being accused of stealing the spotlight.
While the network claims that the color of the dress she wore was too close to white, she denied it and tried to present evidence illustrating how much it was not.
25-year-old Erica Wheaton shared a video and photos of herself and her partner before arriving at her friend's wedding in New York wearing a Bec & Bridge gold satin wrap dress.
Although you can clearly see that it is a golden dress, many claim that in the wrong lighting - it can easily be mistaken for a white dress.
The video gained more than half a million views on Tiktok and provoked hundreds of responses with the question - is the dress suitable or not for a wedding?
While some claimed that she was clearly trying to steal the attention from the bride and pointed out that the color was too close to white - others claimed that there was no problem with this dress.

"Luckily the bride was so calm about it. I would have exploded," wrote one and another added: "I would never do such a thing. My grandmother would freak out. It's too close to the bride's white."
Another viewer wrote: "Even if she painted gold, she will look white in the photos. How disrespectful."
A surfer who works with brides wrote: "Your dress is photographed as off-white. It's a hallucination, honey. You're lucky the bride was more relaxed than the rest of us."
Another added: "Why even take this risk? Any shade close to white should be left - like champagne or light pink for the bride and groom only. I don't understand why women do this."
Another referred less to the color and more to the quality of the dress: "It's more of a 'never try to outdo the bride' situation. Your dress attracts too much attention."
Another viewer concluded: "I would be sad if you were there next to me in every one of my wedding photos."
Not everyone killed the guest.
"I'm a bridal stylist and this dress is not white in any way," one wrote and another added: "Nothing about this dress screams 'look at me'. The dress is clearly champagne colored. Her man is wearing a white shirt and I don't see a problem with that."
Another one wrote: "I'd rather have them come to my wedding in a natural light dress than in bright green like people here on Tiktok suggest."
Another concluded: "People exaggerate here. It's true, it's not recommended to wear white - but it's definitely not white."

Vuitton told News.com.au she chose this dress because it was "simple, elegant and timeless".
She added: "I never thought that this dress was inappropriate for a wedding. I couldn't imagine a situation where I was wearing a white dress on someone else's wedding day. This dress is just not white."
Vuitton later posted a response video that has garnered more than 2 million views, in which she presented further evidence that the dress was clearly gold and did not resemble the bride's.
She defended the dress she bought for $200 and shared photos of herself in the dress next to the bride, when the differences in shades can be seen more clearly.
A viewer concluded: "People are so dramatic lol."
