The emerging cast is diverse to say the least.
A comedian: Florent Peyre.
A singer from the 2000s: Billy Crawford.
A particularly young influencer: Léa Élui.
And, now, a former judoka-minister.
David Douillet's participation in season 12 of "Dancing with the Stars" has been confirmed by TF1.
We are curious to see the former heavyweight (125 kg, 1.96m) wiggle during a cha-cha-cha.
David Douillet, who has been appearing on various shows lately, knows the channel.

He was part of the Miss France jury in 2001. In 2019, he joined season 1 of “Mask Singer” and, this year, in season 2, hid behind the Lion costume.
On M6, the former Minister of Sports participates in "Traitors", a psychological entertainment on the model of the game of "werewolf" broadcast from August 17.
We also saw David Douillet co-host in June part of the program "The 10 favorite dishes, the ranking of the French" (C8).
He exchanged there in particular with Yannick Alléno and his son Antoine, who disappeared in May.

On the side of the jury of "Dancing with the stars", Denitsa Ikonomova will not find the jury chair nor the floor of the TF1 competition because of her busy schedule.
To replace her as well as Jean-Paul Gaultier, absent for the same reason, the choice of the production fell on Bilal Hassani, finalist of the last edition and first male participant to dance with a man, and Marie-Agnès Gillot, star dancer who said goodbye to the Paris Opera in 2018.
As for the dancers, the Canadian Christian Millette and the choreographer Maxime Dereymez will not participate in the following season.
Which will however be marked by the return of a face known to fans of the program: the expert in paso-doble and cha-cha-cha, of Australian origin, Katrina Patchett.
