Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi today (Thursday) approved plans for "offensive efforts" during a tour of the Gaza Division. The Chief of Staff assessed the situation with the commander of the division, against the background of the curfew that was imposed on the surrounding settlements in the last two days due to fear of gunfire from Gaza.
