Esteban Sinisterra, the designer from Francia Márquez who captures the history of the Afro community in his garments

This Sunday the inauguration of the elected president, Gustavo Petro, will take place in Colombia.

In the same ceremony and for the first time in the country, an Afro-descendant woman, Francia Márquez, will become vice-president, who accepts the position with a speech of inclusion and with all the symbology of her ancestors, something that she wears even in the clothing from her.

CNN spoke with her personal designer, Esteban Sinisterra, who said that Márquez carries a story in each of her dresses and provided details of what the garment that the elected vice president will wear during the historic event will be.
