After last year's success, the "Story of the Nebelberg" will be performed again this summer in the Isarwinkel high ropes course.

Lenggries –

The operators Simone Heitinga and Axel Berger caused a stir last year with a fairy tale show in the Isarwinkel high ropes course, which is new in the region.

This year there is an encore: The story of the “curse on the old tree” can be seen in three further performances on Friday, August 19th and Saturday, August 20th.

A unique mixture of fire show, aerial acrobatics, singing, guitar playing, video projections, drama and fairytale narration is offered again.

In addition to Simone Heitinga and Axel Berger, the participants include the singer and actress Sabine Maiss, the Lenggrieser guitarist Sebastian Schwarzenberger and Flo Beyer, who is responsible for the video installation.

Another special feature is the ambience: Heitinga and Berger convert the tower of the high ropes course into a stage.

They hang several hundred square meters of gauze between the beams and platforms.

"It forms semi-transparent projection surfaces on which the images of the video installation float in the air," says Berger.

Spectators watch all this from picnic blankets and can eat their own food (drinks can be bought on site).

In the background, the Brauneck towers over the show as a backdrop.

In terms of content, the performance leads into the realm of fairy tales and myths.

According to their own statements, Heitinga and Berger want to reveal a mysterious world to the viewers, which reveals itself at the Brauneck, which they call "Fog Mountain", when the crowds of visitors of the day have started their way home.

Then mystical figures like the "Rose Queen" and the "Witch Desdemona" take over the landscape and struggle for a balance between the loving nature of the one and the sometimes dark magic of the other.

And the old "Celsius" unlocks the door to hidden stories - like that of the enchanted tree.

"Everyone has to pull together so that the tree regains its heart," reveals Berger.

This episode is intended to be the start of a planned cycle of "Tales from the Misty Mountain".

Because of last year's success, Heitinga and Berger are repeating it this year - possibly slightly further developed.

In 2021 there were waiting lists for the tickets, the response was overwhelming, the organizers report.

That's why everyone interested should get a new opportunity this year to be there.
