The port of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, witnessed today the collapse of the northern parts of the grain silos, some of which were destroyed by the explosion that rocked the port two years ago.
And the Lebanese National News Agency reported that 4 silos fell from the northern side of the Ihrat, which resulted in large amounts of dust covering the surrounding areas.
In addition, Beirut is witnessing demonstrations and sit-ins to demand the completion of investigations into the port explosion, which killed more than two hundred people.
It is noteworthy that the port of Beirut witnessed on August 4, 2020, a huge explosion that killed more than 200 people and injured more than 6,500 others, causing extensive damage to the port and a number of neighborhoods in the capital.
