DJ Robin x Schürze perform their much-discussed song “Layla” in the TV garden.

The audience can't be stopped in their party mood.

The song is intoned three times.

Mainz – In her entire time as presenter of the "Fernsehgarten", Andrea Kiewel has never experienced such an uproar because of a song: It's about the song "Layla" by DJ Robin x Schürze, which has been in first place for six weeks now chart holds.

The text caused negative headlines in the run-up to the accusation of sexism, as it contained words like "Puff", "geiler" and "Puffmama".

Under the motto "Mallorca vs. Oktoberfest", the song was sung uncensored in the TV garden (all news about the ZDF TV garden on the topic page) - and led to a party atmosphere among the viewers.

Right at the beginning of the television garden it is clear: the audience is just waiting for the controversial song.

People spontaneously sing the lines of "Layla" and start doing it again and again between performances by other musicians.

When the interpreters finally performed the song, the audience at the Lerchenberg, as expected, freaked out, roared along and then loudly demanded an encore.

Andrea Kiewel (everything about the "TV Garden" presenter) thinks it's great and says: "Let's do it because we can!" - and the duo starts the song again.

Afterwards, however, Kiwi also explains that the TV garden editors (these are the broadcast dates) have given an incredible amount of thought to DJ Robin x apron.

Shortly thereafter, "Layla" is played again in the ZDF live broadcast.

The hit song is allowed to close the television garden in a grand finale on July 31, 2022, the audience cannot be stopped.

From "Finally" to "Hell": Viewers on Twitter discuss the "Layla" song

On Twitter, the audience voices are a bit more critical of the performance.

Many celebrate the good atmosphere at the Lerchenberg in Mainz, write: "Layla is finally allowed to start" or ask: "What's more sexist than some other Ballermann songs?".

Others see it differently: "The fact that 'Layla' is being played uncensored in the TV garden is my personal fall of the wall" or "Oh God.

This is how I imagine hell,” it reads.

A Twitter user summed it up like this: "The song has really been on the one for six weeks?

Scandal is just the best thing that can happen to you as a musician."

Moderator Andrea Kiewel herself also made an unexpected confession in her Ballermann edition.

Kiwi has never been to Mallorca or Ballermann himself, but he dreams of his own hit.

In any case, Mickie Krause has already expressed readiness for a duet.
