This is real smashing news!
According to information from our editorial team, Rammstein is planning a huge New Year's Eve concert in Munich – at the Wiesn.
Munich - The organizer expects around 145,000 visitors for the Ramstein concert on the Theresienwiese in Munich.
The city council is expected to approve the proposal next week.
Time is pressing, the agency needs a commitment by August 10th.
Rammstein in Munich: A mega event last time
Rammstein in Munich - not only the concert itself is a mega event, the pre-sales already set standards.
In 2019, the online ticket system collapsed – the rush was so great.
And what were those pictures from the Olympic Stadium?
The Rammstein stage was already on fire during the intro.
The six musicians swept over Munich like a force of nature.
And not only the fans seem to have liked it.

Rammstein concert in Munich: the band came especially for this one performance
According to our information, the concert agency Leutgeb approached the city - with the unique offer for a New Year's Eve concert in Munich.
No tour – Rammstein would come to Munich solely for a concert.
However, the city only has the option of holding the event at the Wiesn - because of the planned 145,000 visitors, the Olympic Stadium is apparently omitted.
According to the organizer, this magnitude is needed to ensure reasonable and affordable ticket prices.

Rammstein mega concert parallel to the Winter Tollwood?
No problem according to the organizer
The agency therefore needs an area of around 150,000 square meters for the audience, the stage, the sound system and the necessary infrastructure.
14 days must be allowed for assembly and five days for dismantling.
According to the agency, the fact that the Tollwood Winter Festival takes place on the Theresienwiese during this time should not be a problem.
The concert event is scheduled to last from 8 p.m. to midnight on New Year’s Eve.
The sound emissions of the concert are to be kept considerably lower than at comparable events by means of the most modern sound transmission systems.
According to the organizer, this will avoid greater noise pollution.
If the city council agrees, then on New Year's Eve 2022 it will be - "God knows, I don't want to be an angel." If the city council does not agree, the band would look for a venue in North Rhine-Westphalia.
