The evening of Tisha B'Av is upon us, and across the country preparations are being made for the events that will take place to mark the destruction of the house.

Readings from the Book of Lamentations and the lessons "This night do not learn Torah" will be held as every year all over the country shortly after Shabbat ends, with the beginning of the fast of Tisha B'Av.

Along with the reading of the scroll, which tells about the destruction of the Temple and the destruction of Jerusalem, various events will be held in synagogues throughout the country to connect the masses to the trauma the Jewish people went through 1,952 years ago.

At the Western Wall, the remnant of the Temple, there will be a state of mourning on Shabbat night starting at 11:15 PM in the Ashkenazi style and in the style of the Mizrahm testimony.

At the same time, in the City of David National Park, near the walls of the Old City, there will be an event under the title "How Rocks Break - A Learning and Discussion Meeting on the Antiquities of Kiryat HaShelton", with the participation of Mayor Moshe Leon, Mayor of Yeruham Council Tal Ohana, Prof. Yuval Albashan and under the direction of Ariel Schnaval.

In many cities in Israel, the events "The night they don't learn Torah" will be held every year, an initiative of the Sderot Conference for Society and Education, the organization "Yahed" from Beit Or Torah-Stone and the academic college named after Kay.

These are evenings of discussion that are a platform for dialogue and dialogue between the parties, and will deal with a variety of issues related to conflicts and divisions in Israeli society - including the cost of living, the political-security conflict, the teachers' protest, and more.

This year's events will be under the title "Evenings in each other".

In Tel Aviv this evening (Thursday) there will be an event at the Brodt Center with the participation of Rabbi Shay Piron, Rabbi Eyal Vared, Rabbi Ilai Ofran, Orit Mark Ettinger, the daughter of Rabbi Michi Mark who was murdered in a shooting attack and more.

In Be'er Sheva, a conference will be held at "Beer Avraham" with the participation of Defense Minister Benny Gantz and led by Avi Dabush.

In Rehovot, a gathering will be held at the community center "Swiss Experiences of Science", under the direction of Efrat Shapira-Rosenberg and with the participation of Prof. Ron Shapira, rector of the Peres Academic Center, and halacha consultant Racheli Shapira-Frenkel.

Avi Buskila, Rabbi Avraham Stav and MK Eli Cohen will participate in a talk at the Culture Hall in Lod, moderated by Amir Bar-Shalom. Admission to all events is free.

Two intriguing events will take place in Judea and Samaria: in Gush Etzion, as every year, many people go up to Herodion, the mountain built by Herod, and read the Book of Lamentations there.

There will be guided tours.

The next day, in the morning of Tisha B'av, a unique entrance to an ancient synagogue from the end of the Second Temple period, in the heart of Kfar A-Tavani, is planned in the south of Mount Hebron.

There will be a morning prayer and a lamentation.

This is the first time in the last decade that in the south of Mount Hebron there will be an entrance to this synagogue.
