In the video: Islamic Jihad refers to the arrest of Bassem al-Saadi (Walla system!)

While the residents of the Gaza Strip today (Thursday) entered the third day of curfew, in the Gaza Strip life is going smoothly.

Due to fear of retaliation for the arrest of a senior Islamic Jihad official on Monday night, the residents of the settlements in the south were forbidden to leave their homes - and the IDF blocked the main roads in the area. Thus, the farmers were forbidden to cultivate their fields and the children were forced to spend the vacation days at home, away from friends At

the same time, in the Gaza Strip, despite the air hunt for the anti-tank units that threaten the Israeli side of the border, life goes on as usual.

In the pictures that are published in the news agencies, you can see bathers on the beaches, bustling nightlife and children playing under the sky.

This morning, the IDF raised the alert level in the Gaza Strip in another step. In the last few hours, the waters of the Gaza Strip have been filled with armed unmanned aerial vehicles to locate anti-tank units of the Islamic Jihad - and hit them.

This, due to a concrete warning that the Islamic Jihad had sent anti-tank squads to the first line of houses in order to harm IDF soldiers, civilians or vehicles.

The concern, which has lasted for several days, stems from the arrest of the senior Islamic Jihad leader Sheikh Bassem al-Saadi on Monday.

During the day, the commander of the Gaza Division and the commander of the Southern Command will present an assessment of the situation on the ground, and in the afternoon the Chief of Staff will visit the Minister of Defense with the head of the Intelligence Division and present to him the intelligence situation and recommendations for action. The estimates are that if Hamas and Islamic Jihad do not announce a calm, Gantz will announce Additional economic sanctions.
