The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian forces had killed up to 130 Ukrainian soldiers and destroyed 13 armored vehicles following the bombing with high-precision weapons of the Aerospace Forces on the positions of the 92nd Ukrainian Mechanized Brigade near the city of Kharkov.
Ministry spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said in a press briefing today that in the town of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic, a temporary stationing point of units of the 95th Airborne Brigade was destroyed, and up to 400 personnel of the Ukrainian forces and 20 units of their military equipment were liquidated.
The spokesman added that as a result of the intensive offensive operations of the Russian forces and armed units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics in the Soledar, Artemovsk and Avdiivka regions of the Donetsk People's Republic, units of the 54th, 56th and 58th mechanized infantry brigades of the Ukrainian forces left their positions after losing their combat capability due to the heavy losses they had incurred.
Konashenkov said that during the past 24 hours, two command posts were targeted, including the 95th Airborne Brigade in Konstantinovka, Donetsk People's Republic, the organization of the Nazis in the town of Tarnovatoy in the Zaporozhye region, as well as manpower. Military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 194 districts, two depots of missile and artillery weapons near the town of Novoivanovka in the Zaporozhye region and a fuel storage facility for Ukrainian military equipment near the Zaporozhye 2 railway station were destroyed.
The spokesman said that as part of the anti-battery fighting, three platoons of “Grad” launchers, four platoons of “Gvozdika” and three platoons of “D30” howitzers were bombed in their positions in the towns of Lastuzka, Petrovskoye and Avdiivka in the Donetsk People's Republic.
The Russian air defense systems, according to the spokesman, also shot down four drones during a whole day in the airspace of Andreyevka and Druzhnoye in the Donetsk People's Republic, Izyum and Dmitrovka in the outskirts of Kharkov, and five missiles were intercepted from the multiple launcher systems in the areas of the towns of Druzhnoye in the Donetsk People's Republic, Solingnoy and Muzikovka in the outskirts of Kherson.
Konashenkov indicated that since the beginning of the special military operation, 261 warplanes, 145 helicopters, 1,673 drones, 361 anti-aircraft missiles, 4,244 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 786 units of missile launcher systems, 3,251 pieces of field artillery and mortars, in addition to 4,696 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
