According to the indictment, which was submitted through Aviad Devik, the complainant, wearing a kippah and wearing a white shirt in a way that could be identified as a religious Jew, traveled by bus from Givat Ze'ev to Jerusalem.

At a certain point in the journey, the accused pulled a screwdriver from a black bag, jumped in front of the complainant and started stabbing him several times and shouting "Allah Akbar".

So the bus driver braked the bus, opened its doors and the complainant tried to run away.

The accused pushed the complainant on a nearby sidewalk out of the bus, and continued to stab him while the complainant tried to wrestle with him.

A passerby who passed by threw a stone at the defendant and made the defendant stop stabbing.

Another passer-by who stopped at the scene called the defendant to stop advancing towards him but the defendant continued and subsequently shot the defendant.

As a result of the accused's actions, the complainant suffered stab wounds and fractures in all parts of his body and he was hospitalized.
