The work of the investment forum, which is being held by Aleppo Governorate in cooperation with the Syrian Investment Authority, started this evening in Khan Al-Harir in the old city of Aleppo, with the participation of the Ministers of Public Works, Housing, Economy, Foreign Trade, Industry and Tourism, in addition to the Governor of Aleppo.
The Director General of the Syrian Investment Authority, Madian Diab, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the forum discusses the investment reality in the governorate and the investment opportunities available in various industrial, commercial and tourism fields, and presents the reality and the investment environment in Syria.
Diab indicated that the forum will shed light on Investment Law No. 18 of 2021, encourage investors, and present a set of opportunities supported by the advantages and facilities of the Investment Law, pointing out that the volume of investments in Syria amounted to about one trillion and 450 billion Syrian pounds.
